Information: Pedro is a scrappy Great White shark who fearlessly roams the the waters off of Guadalupe Island. It appears that he has been in a 'scrape' or two, as he is easily identified by a distinctive bite mark above his left pectoral fin. (But you should see the OTHER guy!) Although his tag was not pre-programmed to disconnect on a specific date, the battery in the transmitter had a lifetime of only 16 days. But the data that was captured from Pedro's tag (while it was still active) will be helpful to shark researchers for a long time to come. Safe journey, Pedro.
