To Join the Program you must first enroll by Clicking Here.

To qualify you must meet these simple requirements:

• Grocer undergoes a sustainable seafood audit by representatives of the Monterey Bay Aquarium and/or Iemanya Oceanica.
• Grocer must replace unsustainable seafood items with sustainable seafood options based on Monterey Bay Aquarium’s Seafood Watch guide. Sustainable choices should then be highlighted with the Seafood Smart icon.
• Grocer agrees to quarterly seafood selection reviews by the Seafood Smart Staff.
• During the audit and review process, Seafood Smart will provide education and training to front line staff about sustainable seafood choices.
