The mission of IEMANYA OCEANICA is the international conservation of sharks, rays and their habitats  through research, environmental education and the promotion of sustainable management policy and  marine protected areas.

IEMANYA OCEANICA envisions healthy oceans worldwide where human activities are balanced with intact  marine ecosystems; where no marine species is over-fished or deemed insignificant, but rather is  recognized for it's intrinsic beauty and importance in ocean ecology.
